The shoe itself was nice looking, but I had to send them back as they were too big. I should have read the previous review! Im an 8 1/2 and I was swimming in them. So make sure you order them 1/2 to 1 size smaller than your actual size.

I love these hiking shoes. They are just what I wanted. Comfortable enough to wear all day, in and out of the woods. But durable enough to work with my feet on the uphill and downhill climbs. Recommend them to anyone looking for a light, comfortable hiking shoe. No break in time. Out of the box, into the woods.

I love these shoes! This is my third pair of Solomon shoes (the second pair was the Gore-Tex which I DON'T recommend and my first were Exclaims) and I run, hike, backpack, and exercise in them as well as wear them out at night to go dancing. They’re fabulously comfortable!!

I ordered my shoes right before leaving to study abroad, and didn't have time to really break them in before I arrived. I was impressed by how comfortable they were right from the first day I wore them. I initially bought them specifically for day hikes, but they're cute enough that I wear them a lot for long days out on the town. Highly recommended!

I purchased the Solaris Low Day Hiking Shoe for women when it was on clearance. I got a half size smaller as other reviewers had suggested and they fit perfectly.

They are very comfortable, great for wearing around town on a blustery fall day, and they stay tied! I can't wait to wear them on a real hike! I'd buy another pair in a minute!

These are the best multi-use shoes I have ever owned and I have owned many! They are comfortable hours on end and are great for everyday use and hiking. They are the only shoes that I can walk in for more than 8 hours straight and not have sore feet. Not to mention that they are really cute! Always a bonus!

I am a Park Ranger and we order this shoe for all of our Rangers. They are a great shoe! We use these shoes for maintenance and lots of hiking day in and day out. The only problem we ran into was that they ran big, about a whole size. We had to exchange for a smaller size for several people. Thanks for a good quality shoe!

These shoes were comfortable from the beginning. I hiked in them without any break in period. I'm really impressed with the traction. They never slipped, even on loose gravel. Great shoes, great price.

Even with free shipping, these boots came within 5 days which was great! They were a little too big, much like the other reviews that said the sizes run big, but I just put on thicker socks and tied them tighter from the bottom and no worries!

I first purchased Salomon foot wear back in 1998. I have never found a better shoe for my foot type, and have continued to buy Salomon hiking shoes ever since. The pair I have had for two years still are supportive and comfortable, even after being on my feet for a 10 hour work day, or long hike. They are the best shoe hiking shoe I have ever worn!!!

These are nice shoes, but are a little narrow. I typically wear an 8½ - 9, but I need to return these for a larger size.

I was constantly getting blisters on the heels of my feet. So I decided to purchase these shoes and not once have I gotten a blister. They go on many hikes with me and they are awesome. Give comfort and support at the same time!

Very comfortable from day one!

I bought a pair last year and didn't take them off until it was over 95 degrees. I love them, there was literally no break in period. I wear orthotics, and the Solaris are deep enough to leave the insoles in for the extra support. I just bought another pair. I highly recommend them for daily hiking.

I bought these to replace my Salomon Exclaims (precursor to this style), which I've worn for the past 3.5 years. As with my previous pair, as soon as I put them on, my feet said "Ahhhhh!” There was no break-in time, they are very comfortable and supportive, and I've never a blister or a sore spot. I am a pronator with very weak arches, and find these shoes to accommodate my feet very well!
