Salomon Pro Sticky Low 2 Shoe - Women's - 2004

The Salomon Pro Sticky Low 2 is an outstanding mid-cut climbing approach shoe. This is the shoe to wear on approaches that deserve a tougher rating than the 5.10a you're trying to reach. Traction and stickiness are the Pro's main attraction thanks to the Mountain Contagrip sole. Rubber randing provides toe protection, and the split suede leather upper shields your foot from scree and scrub. Asymmetrical lacing provides a comfortable fit.

Bottom Line: Stop scrambling over scree in shoddy shoes. Protect yourself with this specialized approach shoe.

I bought the shoes for a day hike in the RMNP. I had very little time to do any break-in. The shoes performed great. After 14 miles and some technical climbing, they were comfy and I was blister and hot-spot free. Just wish they were XCR lined.
