Salomon Lark Snowboard - Women's - 2008

The Salomon Women's Lark Snowboard helps you reclaim control of you riding, so you can take on any snow conditions anywhere on the mountain. This all-mountain snowboard’s tapered directional shape gives you amazing flotation in the powder and increases edge hold on hardpack. The kinked Equalizer sidecut spreads pressure over the entire edge when you turn for catch-free, effortless turns. Salomon tricked out this women's-specific board with rubber sidewall inserts to dampen vibration and absorb the shock of hard landings. The lightweight aspen core makes the Lark super maneuverable in the air and through the trees, and a medium flex pattern adds some pop for boosting off hits in the park.

Bottom Line: An all-mountain board that sings through all conditions.

So I'm trying to find a board but havn't found the one

So I'm trying to find a board but havn't found the one yet. I've gone several times and each time I've been given a different size board, ( ranging from 139-146, which i hate, but 144 seemed to be my favorite) lol I really wanna narrow my choices down and find a board for me. I would consider myself beginner, i can get down the mountain but havnt mastered carving yet. I would like a board that i could progress on, so beginner/intermiate board, what would be your opinion about this board and any other suggestions on boards i should be looking at, and also your personal opinion on board size: I'm 5'1" and a half, 115-120 lbs.--Thank you!

this one will work just fine...they even have ur size :-). now its the end of the season so you might have a hard time finding it in your size but the K2 Moment snowboard is aimed specifically at begginers and that would have to be my reccomendation...but this will work great too, the difference between the two is that this is a little more advanced board, but will last you a lot longer because you wont become better than your board...with the K2 moment board, youll learn on it very easily but in a year or so you will start be become bored with the ride and it wont be giving you enough support to go on bigger runs when you progress that far, so you would probably have to buy another board once you really get the basics down...pick ur poison

Great all around board

I really love this board. When purchasing I was torn between this one and the Burton Lux. I am really really happy I chose this one. For my size (5'3") it handles speed really well and catches the edge great on packed snow. I have yet to ride it on the east coast - where I do most my riding - but for Jackson, WY, it was absolutely perfect. Since it took the packed snow quite nicely, I think it is going to take icy patches pretty well.

The board also has the right amount of flex for an all mountain snowboard. I highly recommend this board, not only does it look good, but it rides smooth!
