When your friends are running laps at the gym, take the high road with the Salomon Men's Exit Sport GTX Shoe. Wet and muddy mountain trails are no problem for the Exit Sport GTX. A Gore-Tex membrane, waterproof oiled uppers, mud guard, and full bootie lining construction keep your feet drier than Arizona in a seven-year drought. Salomon added Sensifit form-fitting technology to give a precise fit, and a heel strap and protective heel cap with foam to offer serious support. A molded EVA midsole and 2D Advanced chassis give you a comfortable ride. The Contagrip outsole maintains traction in slippery conditions and the shoe's light weight allows you to go the distance.
Bottom Line: Go the muddy distance with the Salomon Men's Exit Sport GTX Shoe.
I'd been looking for a replacement to my older Salomon's that I'd worn right down to the ground, because I liked them so much. But when I got the Salomon Exit Sport GTX I got even more shoe than I'd had before. The support "suspension," light weight and waterproof and breathable Gore Tex make this a a very comfortable and practical shoe that you hardly know you have on your foot. I do a lot of city walking, walking at the dog park and trail walking, and the Exit Sport keeps me at home in all these environments.
And thanks to this store's handy return policy, I was able to return my first order, which was a half size too small, and reorder the Exits that fit perfectly. Thanks.
Definately worth buying. Comfortable, good sporty look, and most of all, you can be confident that your feet will stay dry. Those make me believe that this shoe is a great value for anyone.
When I pulled these shoes out of the box, they were really squeaky and loud when I walked on all sorts of different surfaces. I thought they just needed to be broken in, but after two weeks of everyday use they had not improved. I exchanged them for another pair, but they had the same problem. This time I gave them a month, but I finally gave it up and got another shoe. They were very comfortable and fit great, but I didn't want to be reminded every time I took a step.
As long as your aren't submerging your shoes for long periods of time, they should stay dry, and if they do become soaked, they will dry fairly quickly
great shoe for a hike, for some golf, and some mountain biking. practically lived in them for a long weekend filled with a lot of different activities. good support and fit - didn't notice the noise mentioned in another post.
