Salomon Aspen Winter Boot - Men's - 2007

When Green Bay locals start complaining about the cold, it's time to lace up the Salomon Men's Aspen Winter Boots. According to Salomon, these boots keep your feet comfortable for 50% longer than competing boots in extremely cold conditions. The secret is Aspen Aerogels insulation. We'll spare you the physics, all you need to know is that NASA uses the same technology in space suits, so you know these waterproof boots will keep your toes warm on a quick jaunt to the corner store or a day of snowshoeing. The Aspen Boot also features a Contragrip outsole that stays soft at very low temperatures for improved traction on icy surfaces, as well as a rubber toe cap for extra protection against icy puddles. A molded EVA midsole and foam heel take the shock out of each step, so walking in the Aspen Boots is just as comfortable as walking in your favorite athletic shoes.

Salamon Aspen Winter Boot

Bought a pair in November. They are simply the lighest and warmest winter boot I have ever worn......and over my 66 years have used many many boots. They are especially great as a snowshoe boot, will keep your feet toasty for hours! Salomon really got these boots right on.

Outstanding boot. Just breaking them in now tooling around the yard, but the true test will be when the snow starts to fly.
