SmartWool PhD Running Light Micro Sock - 2008

Tired of those goofy ankle-sock tan lines? SmartWool's PhD Running Light Micro Sock provides comfortable moisture management, a ridiculously comfortable fit, and no tan lines. SmartWool's Merino-blend material regulates your temperature while you run, venting moisture away from your foot. The PhD's SmartFit system hugs your foot with a four-point banded compression system that offers a close fit on the heel, arches, and across the top of your foot—say good bye to migrating sock syndrome. Extra cushioning under the PhD Running Ultra Light Micro Sock's forefoot and heel help you run farther and longer.

Bottom Line: Ninja socks.

Everything Promised and More

By:

This Smartwool product lives up to everything I have come to expect from Smartwool. These sock offer everything that a runner could want great durability, comfort and plenty of wicking action to keep those blisters at bay. These socks double the effectivness of a great shoe ,and have removed the worry of whether or not my feet will make it through a race.

Great Sock!

By:

I became a fan of smartwool after buying several pairs to hike the Inca Trail in Peru. These socks are great for running or everyday use. Will buy more to add to my collection!

Worth the price

By:

I bought the lights and the ultra lights and they both rock! They keep my feet warm and dry. Walking, running, working, the gym. They work for everything. I'd stock my whole sock collection with them if they weren't $13.

I have looked high and low for the perfect marathon sock, this is it. Never sags, not too tight, no blisters, just enought cushion, great wicking.

Thanks Smartwool!

An ad-vent-ure

By:
August 4, 2008

I am finding myself wearing these as a sock within a sock. Tan lines are not a big thing with me, but the venting is, and these do the job. Remarkable. Moisture is serious where I live and my feet feel dry. What more can you ask for?

amazing socks.

By:
January 7, 2009

i've owned a pair of these, and 2 pairs of ultra-lights for 2 weeks, and i haven't worn other socks the whole time (i've washed them of course). i wear them to work unloading trucks, and they keep my feet dry, warm, and i have no sore spots on them. i would easily recommend these socks to anyone i know. actually i already have. i plan on buying more.

Good Socks

By:
December 11, 2008

These socks breathe well and provide a little cushion for your feet. They will not fall down into your shoe. They don't take on stink. All around, once again, a great merino product.

Flippin' Sweet

By:

Awesome running/exercise socks. I was concerned about Wool in warm weather, but the wicking keeps your feet cooler than regular cotton socks regardless of the temperature... Gotta buy some more.

wool is awesome

By:
February 11, 2009

these are my favorite racing, training, casual socks. I have worn them so many times, in so many conditions, wet, hot, cold, cold & wet, hot & wet, you name it, these are fantastic. Bad socks can ruin your runs, these are awesome.

AWESOME!

By:
June 19, 2008

These are perfect for nearly all outdoor activities! I wear them primarily for golf...they are great; low, moisture wicking, durable, and don't slip into my shoes. I typically walk and carry my bag, so those are very important attributes.
