Since your body temperature changes as you work through your runs, get a jacket that can change with you—the Sugoi Women's Versa Jacket. Zip-off sleeves let you control the amount of protection and warmth you need as you tear down the trail. MicroFine fabric offers water-resistance if it starts to rain or snow and stays breathable throughout your run so you don't overheat. If it's still a bit chilly to zip off the sleeves, a back partially open yoke provides venting. When the wind kicks up, cinch the hemline adjustable shock cord.
Bottom Line: A versatile jacket for wintertime runs—the Sugoi Versa Jacket.
This is a really sweet jacket, I wear it all the time, and the convertability is nice. Take a look at the neck though- see the little flaps of sleeve sticking up? They are supposed to tuck into the collar, but they don't stay put, and they flap around and bug the hell out of me. One of these days, I'm going to either shorten the flaps or sew snaps into the collar to prevent that.
I got this for my wife and she loves it! The jacket is very light and the material is soft, flexible, and comfortable...perfect for running. It cuts right through the wind and takes the edge off the cold. The removable sleeves are well designed. The two-way zippers on the sleeves makes it so you can partially unzip them like pit-zips for extra ventilation if it's not warm enough to completely remove them. Overall a great jacket!
I can't tell if my computer is showing the true colors, so could someone please explain what color (red, orange, pink) "poppy" and "rave" is? Looks to me like poppy is pink and rave is orange; just wanna make sure. I'm definitely not a "pink" gal.
I have a five year old version of the jacket (antique, not children's), and I love it. It now has holes all over the elbows from campfire incidents, and holes in the pockets from my OCD fingers, but I refuse to throw it away. The various layering combinations of this and a fleece top seem to be able to handle most of what I throw at myself.
