Spyder Circuit Pant - Women's - 2008

The Spyder Women’s Circuit Pants bring straight-leg-jeans style to the slopes of Breckenridge, Snowbird, or Stowe. The 10K-rated membrane and critically taped seams deal with east-coast ice and fluffy west-coast powder, while low-bulk insulation adds warmth on chilly chairlift rides. Secure the gaiters around your ski boots and stash car keys and tissues in the multiple pockets. Scuff guards bolster these ski pants’ durability.

Bottom Line: What about Kitzbühel, or Chamonix? Yeah, the Circuits rock there too.

the good and the bad!

These are lovely pants (trousers) BUT the sizes are MASSIVELY bigger than the measurements on the size chart - I am a UK8 and according to the size chart should be a US6 - which was about 4 inches too big around the waist. No braces, which would have helped; and also I noticed no reinforced bits on the bottoms of the legs so they'd probably get cut up on your edges?

Great style, wrong size

By:

The pants were a great looking style and had a lovely feel, not overly padded like some ski pants around. Unfortunately they were a size too big and didn't correspond with the Spyder measurements on the website.
Would definitely wear them in the right size.

Weird size

I normally wear a US 8 or 10 and had to get a 12 in these and they still feel tight. The design is super cool and they kept me warm on the slopes. Still worth getting but you may have to try a couple sizes.

these pants are awesome

I love these ski pants so much. It took me a while to find a pair that fit me well AND are high quality. I wore these on an extremely chilly day with sub zero wind chills and only a base layer of long underwear underneath, and I was completely warm and comfortable. The pants are really streamlined and lightweight and were such a pleasure to wear. I can't wait to ski again!

Great pant for tall women

By:
April 23, 2009

I bought the pant in white in a 12L and when they came I was so excited that I went and ordered the 12L in black too. They are a comfortable fabric with nice pockets and they are LONG which is what I wanted. I didn't want my pants stopping at the top of my boots anymore.
They do run a little small. I normally wear a size 10 in pants and ordered the 12 because I heard they ran small, not sorry that I did, they fit great.

Actually fit perfectly

I checked the size chart before I ordered, and I fell right into the size 8 range, so I ordered the 8-S, even though I usually wear a size 6 in most clothing brands. They were a perfect fit with a layer of the Marmot Midweight Bottoms underneath, not too tight, not too loose, with a little bit of extra room in the waist for tucking in a sweater if I wanted to. The Short length was perfect for me too - I'm 5'3". The fabric is smooth like a peach and just feels great to the touch.

They look fabulous and cool on, not too tight but pretty streamlined, even though they have a thin layer of insulation. The insulation and outer fabric kept me completely dry and warm through five days of skiing and falling down in 25-35F weather. Absolutely fabulous!

Highly Recommend These

These pants fit perfectly! Not too tight, not too loose. I usually wear anywhere from 8-10 petite depending on the cut. I have rounded hips so these pants fit great and kept me really dry. They are not bulky at all and the style was fantastic. I am not a big skier but loved wearing these pants out to play around in the snow on our vacation. The Customer Service Chat folks were fantastic in helping me figure out exactly which size and style I needed to get! Will visit Backcountry again for my outdoor clothing needs!!
