Spyder Dare Pant - Men's - 2008

If you're sick of getting snow down the back of your pants (wet underwear is so lame), grab the Spyder Men's Dare Pants. These 20K-rated waterproof ski pants have removable, high-back suspenders that block snow invasions. Light insulation in the Dare ski pants warms your legs without inducing sweat-outs when you're in the steep and deep, and a mesh lining in the high-back suspenders keeps your lower back comfortable. The Spyder Dare's lower leg zippers make it easy to pull on your ski boots, and inner snow cuffs keep the white stuff out on pow days.

Bottom Line: Just try to get snow down these Spyder pants. We dare you.

Excellent pants

By:

Wore these to Alta last month - couldn't be happier. I'm 5'9", 160lb, waist - 32 and wore the medium regular length. The pants are snug but not tight - probably <33 would be uncomfortable, but one can always get the large short length. There are a lot of options here.

Awesome pants for tall man

By:
January 5, 2009

Got these pants in the "LONG" size (I'm 6'5") and its one of the few ski pants I've found which fits me perfectly. Really comfortable to ski in and warm, I wore them on a 35-40 degree day with long underwear and I could have really gone without the thermals. Would highly recommend these!

Does anyone know whether these have back pockets, flaps zippers

Does anyone know whether these have back pockets, flaps zippers or how they look in the back? I don't know why they are not shown with a rear view. . .

Awesome pants!

By:
February 11, 2009

These Dare Pants are awesome! One thing that I noticed is Spyder sizing differs from most other ski apparel companies. I am usually a Medium but a Medium with Spyder is way too big on me, so I went with the Small size. These pants fit great and look sharp. Also warm and very waterproof. I don't really see any huge difference between these and the Bormio/Davos pants other than cost. Highly recommended.

Long does not always mean long...........

By:
January 16, 2009

Let me first start by saying that the pants are really nice and I'm sure that they would be awesome if I wasn't 6'6". I ordered the large long size and the waist was a perfect fit but the inseam was surely not as long as I expected them to be. The only reason I put 2 stars (not recommended) is because I would not recommended these to someone 6'5" or over with a 35-36in. inseam.

Great Pants

By:
January 9, 2009

The pants are great but run smaller than posted. I wear a 32 waist and it is a little tight. The Med show 32-34 waist.
