Spyder Chamonix Jacket - Men's - 2006

For an all-in-one layering system, pick up the Spyder Chamonix Jacket. This unique, three-in-one combo consists of a shell, liner jacket, and vest, which can be zipped together or worn separately. This featured-loaded jacket includes underarm vents, tons of pockets, and X-static Fiberfill insulates the shell. The quality of this coat is just bomber. This is going to be my backcountry jacket from now on. The insulation is warm and breaths very well. I do wish there was a power skirt on the coat and maybe a slip of fabric above the zippers could help keep out the elements a little more (like Arc’teryx does). I realize the coat is ridiculously expensive, but worth every penny if you demand quality, warmth, style, and convenience in the worst weather Mother Nature can throw down. This might be Spyder’s best performance ski jacket. Buy and take with you if you plan on being out for extended, crazy ski adventures.
