Nice knife, spring keeps breaking

I love the way this knife feels, but the spring has broken twice now. I sent it in and they fixed it the first time, but now it is a pain that I have to send it back AGAIN. I may try to fix it myself. Without the spring assist it is far too difficult to open

The best way to do that is through SOG warranty and repairs.Their info:http://www.sogknives.com/service/warranty/Any good knife shop that sell SOG knives can also replace the spring. It's quicker than sending it to the mfg.

The assist opening on this knife is killer. Its so small and light weight I often forget where I last had the knife clipped. Sharp blade and seems to keep an edge quite well.

Awesome Knife

Excellent knife. It has a very "quality" and balanced feel. The opening mechanism is exceptionally smooth. And, it's small enough to put in my pocket, while being just big enough to be comfortable in my hand. I have been a big fan of the Kershaws of similar style. However, this is definitely my new "favorite" knife. Also, the service from Backcountry was great - as usual!
