living in juneau alaska the weather sucks 200 in. snow ,rain,ice, wind.comming off the ice fields ( warm sun, whats that ?). I needed a warm hooded lined wool jacket. this one is a modern touch with old school wool,its lined so no ich, looks great,fit is good xxl,top of the line quailty,its very pricy ,but get it on sale. up there with dale of norway quailty.very close, I will buy 66 north again( runs small ) and hard to find

The Vindur hoody/jacket/sweater/softshell is incredible - it combines the best features from your avorite winter-wear to make something you haven't experienced yet! And the Icelanders must have woven in some of their magic geothermic-heat-crystals into the Vindur's wool blend becasue this thing beyond warm! The inside is a brushed softshell fabric so you get an "I'm so Nordic" look from the outside and an "I'm so comfortable and warm" feeling from the inside.

First off, this jacket isn't made in Iceland it's made in Latvia. The exterior is woven wool with a warm fleece lining. The jacket is warm, but inadequate for temps below 25Fish. I like the drawstrings at the bottom of the jacket, but the snaps at the wrists suck. Unless you can find this jacket on sale, I wouldn't pay full price. The price seems more about fashion than function or quality.
