Inbounds or in the backcountry, the Scarpa T1 Lady Telemark Ski Boot gives advanced female telemarkers the stiffness and control they crave. Four buckles and a dual-density torsion frame lend this advanced telemark boot the ability to drive the fattest skis in all conditions and the lateral stiffness to lay out big, arcing turns at high speeds. For powder days, Scarpa gave the T1 Lady Telemark Ski Boot a reduced rocker sole profile, which enhances edge-to-edge quickness as you weave in and out of the trees. NARROW FEET BEWARE

I am extremely disappointed, I spent a fortune on these, ordered a size down, and my feet are swimming because I have narrow feet. My heel comes up when I drop my knee because the heel is not as narrow as it should be for a women's boot. I also have skinny calves and have to really crank down the buckles to get them to fit right. I have the T2Xs as well which fit fine.

Nice, but tall

I was recently deciding between the T2X and the T1. I had to go with the T2X Lady because the T1 boot liner was too tall. They are shorter than the mens, but if you have large calf muscles, the high liner may be uncomfortable. The top edge was an inch higher than the bottom of my calf, and would have given me a nice bruise. Other than that, they are light and seem very stable. If you have the leg shape for them, I'm sure they ride nice.

The Women's Telemark Boot of the Season

OK - so I haven't skied these yet -- but I did buy them. According to every product review I've read and every shop employee I've talked with, this is THE women's telemark boot of the season. Everyone said "Buy it now because it is going to sell out."

I've been skiing the men's three buckle T1s for a few years and the four buckle is sure to improve the performance.

And these boots are super, super light.
