Salomon Dumont Ski - 2008

Salomon took the brain of slopestyle skiing deity Simon Dumont, hooked it up to a super-machine and the Salomon Dumont Ski popped out. This expert-level slopestyle weapon takes the finest Salomon construction and kills it in the park and pipe, and heads out for all-mountain conquests when the park fills with beaters. The pleas have been heard and Salomon packed this killer with—believe it or not, a wood core! The 50/50 beech and poplar core construction give The Dumont Ski all kinds of beetching pop for big airs in the park and pipe. Salomon's Double Edge Armor reinforcements give the Dumont burly strength for longevity even after months of stomping rails, and the ABS sidewalls cut down on swing weight. This ski combines cutting edge design and pro-design for no-holds-barred competition in the park and pipe, and the rest of the mountain too.

Bottom Line: From truck drivers to switch 1080's, the Salomon Dumont Ski takes slopestyle skiing to a whole new level.

Definitely get the 161's. Especially if you are planning to center mount the ski, because they will feel a lot lighter and shorter when they're mounted center. 151's would seriously be too small.

olssons.
hands down.
just look at who Jon Olsson is and what he does.
plus, salomon has had a few issues with edge construction. and Head is one of, if not the most repected ski companies on the market.

probably the dumonts. don't know a whole lot about the olsson's but the dumont has a really good reputation and a solid construction.

dipends what you want to ski dumont is park specific with still good all moutian performance (just like the salomon suspect) and the line anthem is park specific but is really wide (93)waist and isn't great for all mnt or high speeds...idk about the chronics or the t-hall but the ar6 is also a park specific ski that is really good for all moutian too...if u ski all mnt more then park go for ar6 ...if u ski park alot and some all mnt go for dumont and if u ski JUST park go for anthems

Simon's first pro model, the ones that came out last year with the sunset on the nose and such were all wood core as well. The older spk's and foils and such were the one with the foam core. But these new ones have awesome sidewalls and some sick pop
