Salomon Z12 Ti Ski Binding - 2006

The lightest performance binding on the market, the Salomon Z12 Ti Alpine Ski Bindings kill it on the mountain with lightweight agility and burly strength. This performance alpine ski binding optimizes ski flex from tip to tail so you get balanced pressure distribution for better carving grip. The Z12 Ti Alpine Ski Bindings give you 4mm of lateral motion and 40daN of pressure so you get the highest transmission possible, which means each and every weight shift transfers fully to your ski.

Bottom Line: Cut down on weight and beef up on performance with the Salomon Z12 Ti Alpine Ski Bindings.

Salomon Z12 Ti

After doing much research I found these to be some of the best technological bindings and I liked getting away from the pilot system. These bindings are very responsive on the XW Tornado's and I really like riding on them. A good buy

What better way to evaluate a set of bindings than to put them to the test!!
Spring skiing, 34cms of new light powder, hidden alder branches....KC Chutes(double black) One ski under a branch, A** over Teakettle stuck one heel into the snow up to the binding but the body kept tumbling. Binding released as per design and no serious damage was done to the leg....ankle a little sore from the sudden shock, EGO badly bruised but equipment preform as required and I skied away( after climbing back up to afore mentioned stuck ski)

Would recommend these to anyone looking for a light weight dependable binding.

z12 Ti's

By:

The z12's this year have a good look to them and Salomon cleaned up the aspects with the side adjustments. I personally recommend the binding if you’re really interested in it, however the only major downfall noticed by users it that the front two rollers in the toe clip where the very end of the boot sits seems to rattle, Salomon assures this is just how it support to be and not a defect, for me it personally doesn't bother me you can't hear the rattle skiing just if you shake the ski you will hear the toe piece move almost like something inside the binding is broken.
