The Salomon Falcon 10 Ski Boot gives advanced and expert skiers the strength and agility to push their skiing to the next level. With a burly (110) flex and innovative Spaceframe design, the Falcon soars above the competition. Salomon's innovative Spaceframe uses different thicknesses of shell material throughout the boot, employing higher densities at crucial strength points and less material at others. This allows for amazing strength and power transmission without compromising your performance with burdensome weight. The Spaceframe construction also makes for an extremely sensitive feel, for precise control and unprecedented feel as you tear down the mountain. The Falcon 10's customizable My Custom Race liner gives you amazing comfort with out compromising feel and performance.
Bottom Line: The Salomon Falcon 10 Ski Boot is a predator and the mountain is its prey.
I switch from the old Salomon Race Course (the one with 130 index) after +4 seasons of loyale service (usually ski +40 each season) and I was affraid that these boots could be too soft for the race feeling I like, but they are not. The "stance" is same as the course but feel softer and lighter. The first day I used them, it was like having my feet numb, but I guess my previous boots were too packed and I probably missed the hurting for a while. The second day I felt much better as they started to pack and adjust. Finally (my case): almost no break-in needed and I still will get the Race-like-performance but without the pain
has anybody else found these boots painful due to pressure on the top of the arch on the inside of the foot? i have just bought a pair but have found them painful while wearing them in the house. is this likely to get better when the liners pack out a bit?
i used to own a pair of Xwave 10 and they gave me really huge bone spurs on my inner ankle bone. salomon boots dont pack out much get work done to your boots before they permanently damage your feet! good luck..
Just received these Falcon 10 ski boots a few days ago, and so far I am very impressed. The fit is snug but very, very comfortable. Haven't had a chance to use them on the slopes yet but the "house break-in" is going very well. I'll update later!
Need some help with ski boots. I'm 47, 6', 175lbs pretty aggressive skier who likes bumps, cruising. I seldom get to ski fresh pow but like it. I raced as a teen. I'm currently on old lange pink panther boots (i believe this was a race boot from years ago). It's time for me to get something new. I like a stiffer boot but really don't need a racing boot. Can you recommend a few boots. I believe i have a pretty average foot. Thanks.
Moved up to the Falcon 10 from XWave 8's and am astounded by the super-close but comfortable fit and amazing performance of the boots... they are super responsive laterally, stiff but not-too-stiff - all day comfort. These are really great boots! But before I sound too much like an ad, the rear of the liner does bite your calf a bit after a few days, but hand rolling the lip of the liner back helps a lot... and the clear shell shows all, including the moisture that inevitably creeps in and often hangs around the morning after... a good reminder to pull the liners out after each ski trip
Wow what a boot! Just back from 4 days at Snowbird with just about every type of condition and these boots handled them all spectactularly. Very light, ortho fit, snug but no pain, gotta like that! Highly recommend!
