Salomon Moto Tech-T - Men's - 2006

The Salomon Men's Moto Tech-T is made to take on all of the activities you can handle. This short- sleeve shirt uses Salomon's Acti-Lite mesh fabric to accelerate drying and maximize ventilation. Constructed with flat lock seams and raglan shoulders the Moto Tech-T can be used for running, as a base layer under outerwear, or as backpacking shirt that won't rub you wrong.

Bottom Line: Accelerate your outdoor clothing.

This is a great lightweight, breathable shirt but you gotta love having the Salomon brand prominently displayed on your shirt.

Excellent wicking tee

I disagree with the previous comment regarding Merino. I would prefer the Salomon Moto Tech Tee to a merino tee in really hot weather (although I also recommend having a merino tee for cooler conditions). If you're running or hiking with a CamelBak or other hydration pack on your back, the Salomon Moto is great to have. This synthetic T-shirt doesn't chafe, and it dries super fast.

Good Shirt!

I just ran about 10 miles in this shirt in about 95F weather. Is does a great job keeping the moisture off your body. Compared to some of the other tech tees that I have, it was a little heavy. It’s probably better for cooler weather running.

O.K., if you're into that sort of (polyester) thing...

The virtues of this shirt are its super light weight, breatheability, and relative wicking ability. In other words, I was glad to have it (over a cotton tee!) on hot trail runs in the high Rockies. If you have been spoiled by merino wool (like Ibex), though, this polypro stuff is going to feel rough, stiff, and woefully inadequate in terms of managing temperature. MY bottom line? Adequate for polypro; but if you can afford it, upgrade to merino - you won't regret it!
