Salomon SNS Profil Auto - Men's - 2004

Salomon's SNS Profil Auto Men's Nordic ski binding is a convenient touring binding for men with automatic operation. You won't need to bend down to put your skis on, a feature you'll particularly appreciate when you're wearing a backpack. The full-length ridge plate provides precise lateral control of the ski. The SNS Profil Auto is perfect for recreational classic, and to lesser degree skating.

Bottom Line: A convenience and performance sandwich. Yum.

Nice Bindings, Salomon Policy Sucks

Beware of purchasing Salomon Bindings. They require you to have the bindings installed by a Salomon "Certified Technician." They will not provide any mounting information to you to mount them yourself (and I even used to be a "Certified Ski Tech"). They claim this is for liability issues, but if this was true, how could someone buy any kind of post market add on for any recreational device (for example, a bicycle). On the other hand, the bindings are easy to enter/exit, and have more control than my old SR 45s. And yes, I did mount them myself, I just had to figure out how to release the pressure on the clip spring.
