Roxy Helter Skelter Ski - Women's

You don’t have to be all-out wicked to enjoy the all-mountain power of the Roxy Women’s Helter Skelter Ski. But it doesn’t hurt. The Helter Skelter tears through the powder and crud with an aggressiveness that’s practically magical, but it offers just enough sidecut to cruise through fast groomer turns as well. If you’re feeling in touch with your inner magic rabbit and you just want to hop around in the park or on natural terrain features, no worries. The Helter Skelter’s twin tip design and spring blade technology launch you in and out of jumps with spellbinding dexterity.

Bottom Line: Black magic? Maybe. But whatever it takes to ski the whole mountain….

I ordered these a few weeks ago and then was told afterwards that you were out of stock, and wouldn't be getting any more (until new stock came out later in the year) - so, disappointed, I ordered a different ski instead - and now i see your site says 3 in stock!!! what the?!

Hi, I'm tossing up between getting some helter skelter's

Hi, I'm tossing up between getting some helter skelter's or some shazam's. Based soley on all the wicked reveiws for the helter skelter on this site, I'm leaning towards them. I have no chance to demo anything. need to buy something quickly - it's winter here in Australia now. I'm just wondering how to differentiate between these 2 ski's and figure out which is going to be better for Australian/NZ conditions - short runs, lots of sloppy crud, ice, groomers, and crusty corn snow - the nice pow days few and often far between. I'm 5'2, 52kg small, but technical and aggressive skier. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks

Best All Mountain Ski Ever!

By:
October 2, 2008

I have taken this ski everywhere and it has always been there for me:) Whether in the backcountry, in two feet of powder, or on all the groomers the Helter Skelter is the best. It's big enough for powder, it's just soft enough for moguls, and it's got the perfect amount of sidecut to lay it over on a groomer. I love it!

This ski and take any binding you want to put on there, so just find something you like, maybe by Roxy or any other company and get them mounted. Roxy makes decent bindings, just look for something in a good DIN range for your size. Another good company is Look, they make tons of good bindings.

I <3 my Helter Skelters

By:
October 2, 2008

I am an aggressive skier and I love these skis. They are so much fun. I ski both park and big mountain and these skis pretty much go everywhere and do everything. I used to ski on Atomic Sugar daddies for my powder skis, but I like these a lot because they are so poppy, like I swear I can get 2 or 3 feet higher off a jump because of the springblade technology and the wood core. Anyway, these skis are super fun and I would highly recommend them to aggressive women skiers (plus you've gotta love the plaid graphics.)

'Fraid not. The occasional Roxy image shows a binding, but the ski is sold as a flat. The binding in the pic is the Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide aka:http://www.backcountry.com/store/DYN0196/Dynastar-PX-12-Lifter-Wide-Binding.html

Rad Ski!

By:

I ride mostly big mountain, and this ski floats and pops all over the mountain, especially when I'm in a tight spot! It's really fun everywhere--

Best All Mountain Womens Ski 08-09

By:
November 3, 2008

I am so excited to have finally found a great all mountain woman's ski! Every time I take this ski out it surprises me in some aspect. It is responsive when a quick turn is needed, and can hold an edge without the chatter on the iciest of days. It is comfortable in the park on rails or landing switch and will not dive on super deep Utah powder days. I love that it is a conversation starter with other women in the lift line wondering why my ski has such a cuter graphic than theirs and why a twin tip is a great option for all skiers, no just park riders. Get on this ski, it will amaze you!
