Rottefella Alpina NIS R4 Skate Binding - 2006

The New Nordic Norm-compatible Rottefella NIS R4 Skate Binding features Nordic Integrated System tuning to optimize performance. Rottefella's patented Dual Flexor system maintains the horizontal position of the ski throughout the skating stride for maximum efficiency and smooth power application. Wide NNN plates on the R4 increase stability and allow you to choose your skate boot across multiple brands.

Bottom Line: Rottefella's top end skate racing binding for NIS performance skis.

I need new bindings for old combi ski's (1997 Atomic) so they will match all of our current boots - NNN. The Rottefella R4 is only for NIS, so no good. We like Rottefella bindings, have them on all our other skate and classic skis. What would you recommend? We need to get a new binding asap. These skis are used for classic or skate (not great for either). Thanks.

The R4 is equipped with NIS mounting brackets and can only be mounted to an NIS plate, which is built into the ski.The R3 is not NIS compatible.
