OK for $$$, but not for the use suggested.

Bought these for my daughter because they were listed as a skate boot at a reasonable price. Probabley OK for a recreational boot, but for more serious use, they don't quite offer the ankle support of a higher price skate boot. She ski's 5 days a week on a junior development race team, and I will likely have to get a different pair of boots before the end of the season.

Wow, I went out in my new boots to exercise the dog for a 2 mile loop and my feet were asleep by 1/4 mile. I suffered through the pain induced by a serious pinching above my heel/into the achilles through the 2 miles, but I had a really hard time walking once I was done.

The boots are extremely difficult to zip up all the way when you get your foot in there.

But the lateral stability was really nice and the toe box was roomy.

I am returning mine tonight.
