Rossignol Viper X1 Jr Alpine Ski - Kid's - 2007

The Rossignol Kids' Viper X1 Jr Alpine Ski takes your son from the snow plow to the blue runs and beyond. With lightweight construction and an easy-turning sidecut, this ski helps your up-and-comer through his first years in the sport. Light but durable Microcell foam core grants nimble feel and a forgiving flex—this ski won't punish your son when he gets in the backseat. The Viper X1 Jr's tough Rossitop topsheet and sidewalls maintain their good looks after repeated abuse, and the R 4400 carbon base ensures smooth glide without much upkeep.

Bottom Line: The Rossignol Viper X1 Jr takes your child beyond the bunny hill.

My son is 50 inches tall (6 years old) and growing fast. Can you recommend a ski size for him? How about his brother who is 40 inches tall?

3 yo loves his "fire skis !"

My boy's first ski @ 2 y.o. last year. Just the right amount of side cut to bring them to a natural (french fries) parallel from wedgie (pizza pie) if he stands up a bit without being squirrely- he learned it without even trying. Soft foam construction probably won't take a lot of redrilling so mount some adjustable bindings with the heel back and the binding forward to get the most growth out of them. My boy loves to show off the topsheep graphics.

yes this would work just fine. the comp jr. binding is a fine choice. depending on her size, get one that she is happy with, remember a longer ski will last longer but if she isn't having any fun then neither are you.
