Rossignol Scratch Girl FS Alpine Ski - Women's - 2007

Step onto the twintip Rossignol Scratch Girl FS Alpine Ski and put the smack down on the park and pipe. This women's-specific jib ski rallies the terrain park and saves plenty of energy for the rest of the mountain too. Rossignol's FIT wood core is custom-designed for a woman's weight and balance—quit wrestling with man-sticks and hop on the Scratch Girl FS Ski for a smooth ride. When the park fills with beaters, take this twintip out on the open piste and piss off all the butt-wagging Stien Ericksons out there. With an 80mm waist and smooth sidecut, the Scratch Girl FS Ski effortlessly rails the groomers and flies through trees.

Bottom Line: Don't settle for a man's ski—take the Rossignol Scratch Girl FS Alpine Ski out for a spin and feel the difference a women's-specific ski makes.

Love em

I have the model of these skis from the year before, and I absolutely love them. They are light and responsive, they are great in the woods, light powder (they sunk in the heavy stuff because mine are 148s), and they are lots of fun in the moguls, off kickers and in the pipe. They also perform well on groomers though they aren't as fast as a stiffer ski I still have no problem flying down the mountain in them. They are my favorite ski I have ever owned.

Buy longer skis. These are powder boards, and you should buy them for that purpose. When in doubt, get them longer for powder, and you will never look back at the groomers again.

Demoed these on a day when conditions were least compatible to the ski, which turned out to be a good thing as I wanted a versatile ski and it proved they were not. My teenage daughter has a pair and only breaks them out on powder days. I found the Salomon Mynx or Scarlet to be much more fun and versatile.

I am just learning to ski; after learning, my intention is to spend most of my time out in the backcountry. Are these good to learn on the hill then head out in the backcountry?

Not really, they are a park ski with only a 80mm waist and fairly narrow tip, they would be easy to learn on but would be to small for backcountry use, The scratch girl bc is a awesome backcountry ski that is easy to ski and also works well on groomers maybe look at that ski instead.

Nice skis, very responsive and light. From carving to powder. Perfectly made for women. Lighter than their K2 counterpart. Have to be a little more aggressive driving the tips than the K2 misdemeaner. I'm an 'old person' and don't use them in the park, but I can feel how they would be even better there.
