Rossignol S5 Jago Ski

Your gear closet should be worried because the go-anywhere, do-anythingRossignol S5 Jago Ski is about to put all the rest of your mid-fats, carvers, and semi-fats out of work with one fell swoop. Ready to ride the whole mountain, these wood core twin tips feature Rossignol’s patented Weight Reduction System for more rotations and hang time, 30 degree slanted sidewalls for effortless carves, and a progressive flex that is stiff and responsive underfoot while softer in the tips and tails so you can ollie, butter and pop with ease. The S5 Jago’s cap construction offers extra durability and the shock absorbing Rebound Tips keep things from getting squirrelly when you're straight-lining a chute or bombing into a massive table.

Bottom Line: Ski everything.

I would say do it - I ripped these skis during demo day on chop and nasty and also used my friends pair in some new snow (not deep) and these skis excelled. +1 should be adequate.

In addition to flotation in powder and performance in the park, how will this ski do with quick turns and bumps?

Well, it has a nice flex under foot, with a GS race ski side cut, so it can do well in the pow, as well as on the groomers.

this ski is a 2010 model so it hasnt really been tested on snow. It has a wider turn radius but will still do well on groomers and bumps.
