Rossignol Phantom SC 108 Alpine Ski
Point the Rossignol Phantom SC 108 at any mountain range, and watch as it falls to its knees before your very eyes. The stealthy black successor to the green missile that was last year’s B-Squad, the Phantom 108 is your own personal avy-triggering howitzer, ready to cut loose on the biggest lines and turn huge terrain to debris in your wake. With the same crust-munching Shark Nose tip, vertical sidewall, and dual titanium-over-wood-core laminate construction that made the B-Squad a respected contender in every big-mountain freeskiing contest, the Phantom 108 is 4mm wider underfoot, for better float in snorkel central and stability for stomping 40-footers. “But wait” you say, “I don’t huck anything that big, man.” Well then, bring a book and an apple, buddy, because you’re going to spend some time in the back seat. This ski is a Sherman tank with nitrous boost in the right hands, and an out-and-out liability in the wrong ones.
Bottom Line: It goes big. Very big.
