Rossignol Evo Action Jr AR Ski - 2007

Let your kid use the Rossignol Evo Action Jr AR Ski to explore snowy city parks or white mountain trails. The ski is narrow enough to use in groomed trails and wide enough to break trail through the back yard. Rossignol builds this tough ski with its wood air core which is light enough for kids to handle but burly enough to last. what is the difference between cross cuntry skis and down hill skis?

Cross country skis are very light, very skinny, often don't have metal edges, and are so soft that they are absolutely terrifying to ski downhill on. Downhill skis (a very broad term ranging from alpine to tele, race boards to fat powder skis) are heavier, wider, stiffer, metal-edged, more incut, and designed to keep you in control going very fast.
