Rossignol Classic 80 Ti Ski

The front-side carving Rossignol Classic 80 Ti Ski digs the chords, the bumps, the traverses and everything in between. Backed up with strong metal reinforcements and Axial2 biding system, this front-sider is ready to carve. Based on a tough wood core sandwich design, the Classic 80 snaps and pops just like you like it, while the internal VAS absorbption technology sucks up chatter when you’re maching down the groomers. The Classic’s flat tail ensures powerful carves and easy tracking on variable snow, and the included Axial2 140 Ti binding fends for your soft tissues when you get after it.

Bottom Line: Carve it up.

these skis are great for ripping some gs turns on a groomer at a resort near you. my fifty five year old dad even took em for a spin and loved laying down some speedy arcs. the shovel is an improvement over a race ski because it lets you float and bust the mank a little better. great ski!

Best Ski for Good Skiers

By:
September 17, 2009

I spent a lot of time demoing skis last season and the Classic 80 was a huge surprise for me. I used to think of Rossignol as a brand that made soft skis that didn't handle at higher speeds or in choppy conditions. This ski proved me wrong. It skis like a world cup GS ski on groom but it's wide enough to ski choppy, day old snow in Vail's Back Bowls all day. It blows away everything else I tried.
