Rossignol BC 90 Positrack Ski - 2007

If you like to head out into the woods and make your own trails, you've found your ski. Rossignol made the BC 90 Positrack Ski for skiers who venture into the wilderness and seek out a few turns on the steeps. The BC 90's wide geometry and stable underfoot construction take you deep into the untracked reaches. With Rossignol's waxless Positrack base, this ski opens the backcountry—it's up to you whether that means a short trip through the woods by your house or a weekend tour thought the mountains. The full-length binding retention plate can be mounted with cable bindings for a lightweight telemark setup or with a light AT binding and boot rig.

Bottom Line: Fit for light touring close to home or a bare-bones mountaineering approach.

I am comparing the Rossi BC-90 to the Karhu XCD GT. The dimensions

I am comparing the Rossi BC-90 to the Karhu XCD GT. The dimensions appear close enough for my use primarily on Forest Service roads with a bit of exploring. The XCD GT is a camber and a half for better glide but what is the BC-90? How much does the camber and a half matter for my usage?
