Will these work in the gym shower? Or do they have that squishy

Will these work in the gym shower? Or do they have that squishy EVA material for a footbed? (which, on my other Reefs, feels great, but soaks up too much water) Know the description says "rubber", but not certain if EVA is a type of rubber. On the girls' version of this shoe, it's an EVA footbed.
