Rossignol Sick Bird WRS Ski - 2007

The Rossignol Sick Bird Twintip Telemark Ski launches off backcountry kickers and floats over big powder. Slanted sidewalls improve swing weight for your air-born moves, and rubber tip inserts at the tip and tail add durability when you're skiing switch. The Sick Bird WRS Ski's healthy 128mm shovel keeps you above freshly fallen snow, and Rossignol's LDC (Low Density Core) finds optimal compromise between strength and weight for easy feather-light ascents and powerful, responsive descents. When the resort is beat, head out of the gates and tackle wide open lines on the Sick Bird's awesome big-boy strength.

Bottom Line: Monster pow lines and backcountry kickers call for a monster ski, and the Rossignol Sick Bird Twintip Telemark ski is the cockiest beast around.

Sickbirds do know how to fly

I have skied on these for about half a season and have enjoyed skiing these all over the mountiain from powder to spring conditions. I found the twin tip having a little less anchor in the tail took a little getting used to from a flat tail. I really enjoy the confidence they add when landing, very stable. And they spin much easier than anything i have been on before. I'll agree they take a bit more aggressive skiing than average but one can push them pretty hard and they will keep up.

do you mean are they the same width? If that is your question, no. the shovel is 128cm and tail is 121 cm.
