Rossignol One Mag Snowboard - 2008

Patented Magne-traction technology and WoodCK technology make the Rossignol One Mag one heck of an all-mountain directional twin snowboard. Want to beat all your buddies to first tracks in morning pow? Pump the magne-traction across the traverse and snake the best line. Want to hit the park and pipe with gusto? This board’s balanced flex pattern fits all your needs so you can press boxes and lock into the tranny like a pro. Rossignol’s WoodCK technology adds carbon and Kevlar fibers to the One Mag’s core, so you get wicked pop and smooth performance on every kind of feature.

Bottom Line: The Rossignol One Mag all-mountain freestyle snowboard kicks your other decks out of the quiver.

True All Mountain

I rode this board in spring conditions up in Sun Valley Idaho, which had shear ice in the mornings and several inches of slush in the afternoon, this board handled like it was no problem at all. I couldn't even tell that I was on ice.
After that trip, I took it up to the Canyons on a pow day, rode in the backcountry with several feet of champagne powder. The board handled beautifully, although most boards would anyway. The MTX system is amazing, definitely buy this board.

Hey fellow shredders! Will this board fit a size 12 boot? Also, is the stance set-back with this board...if so, how far?

They have the board in a wide version, I don't see it on this site, but I have a size 12 boot and it works perfectly with my 161W.

No, sorry man the biggest boot you could put on this board would be about a size 10 at the most. You will need a wide specific board. As far as the stance setback it is 1 inch.

Versatility

Rode this on opening day and it trucked through every type of terrain. Spring conditions, ice, pow, chop; I was able to move freely through them all.
It's the quickness.

It really depends on how big your feet are. If you are pushing size 10 1/2 and up it maybe a good idea into the wide option, in that case you should look into the 157. If your feet are smaller, or you don't mind the toe drag, and depending on your riding style, the 56 or 59 should suit you quite well.

Perfect powder shape and flex!

It's hard to not have fun in 16" of fresh pow, but I rode this deck today and had an absolute blast! Because of a medium-stiff directional flex, you can float and slash untracked terrain and straight-line through the chunder without concern for maxing this board's speed. The Twin-ish shape is super playful and poppy, and the addition of Magne-Traction Technology is the finishing touch for this board. I truly believe that any board without MTX isn't even worth riding anymore.
