Oversized tubing and snowboard-boot friendly bindings make the Redfeather Guide Series Snowshoes ready for deep pow days in the backcountry. The wide tubing provides floatation, and aggressive, stainless-steel crampons dig in on your descents. The Pilot II binding's injection-molded frame gives your foot lateral support, and toe and heel straps secure your boot. Thanks to a pivot-rod hinge, the back of the Guide Series Snowshoe stays in the snow as you step, creating more float and allowing the tips to stay up in deep pow.

Will a snowshoe work for wade fishing an area with knee deep or worse mud?? wold a snowshoe stop you from sinking in mud. how much support do you get when standing still vs. keeping moving?
