Polar RS800 Heart Rate Monitor
Go for a burly trail run and bring along a training partner that can accurately analyze your performance without making you mad—the Polar RS800 Heart Rate Monitor. Track your average, maximum, and target heart rate to make sure you're on point. The RS800 also includes Polar's OwnOptimizer function, which can tell you if you've rested enough between workouts. If you go out and tackle some hills, the RS800 will track your ascent and decent so you can see how far you've climbed. When you're finished, hook this heart rate monitor up to your computer and check out your stats. Tomorrow, head out and tackle something even harder to improve your performance.
Bottom Line: The Polar RS800 Heart Rate Monitor tells you the truth after a workout but won't get you angry.

I know the heart strap is hard to get to work in water, but what about the GPS? You say that you have problems in water, but you make it sound like more than problem with the heart strap. What other problems do you have?
Thanks
