My little brother has been rocking this lamp for over 1 1/2 years and has no problems with it. I have used it on multiple occasions as well and it has not let me down. it is plenty bright enough for a camper/climber but i would not recommend it it you are trail running.

I use the Tikka Plus and I like it better for the 9 bucks extra for several reasons.
-brighter due to the addition of an extra bulb
-dimming settings are a huge plus for energy saving or when you just dont need the full brightness
-I personally love the push button on the PLUS rather than the slid switch on this one. the push button is just easier to use when you're using one hand.

For a basic lamp this one works great! if you want a little extra bang for your buck upgrade to the plus and you wont be disappointed. they both are EXTREMELY comfy to wear and adjust. cant go wrong.

This is a great ultralight headlamp that is durable and reliable. I have had mine for about 9 years now and it still works like it is brand new. i have used and abused it and it still measures up to the LED lamps of today. Great primary lamp or a secondary lamp- definately can buy a lighter Tikka lamp if your an ounce counter.

i bought this headlamp for camping / backpack / home emergency use - and despite not being the brightest LED lamp (like some of Petzl's more expensive models) for what I needed, this light is perfect. it is 1. comfortable, 2. inexpensive, and 3. provides enough light for what i needed to do - ie: collect firewood, build a fire, do some night first aid, filter water, cook dinner, eat dinner, get dressed, etc etc. for the money, incredibly useful and a great deal. definitely recommended.

This headlamp has been out on many camping trips and night hikes and has never failed. It is very lightweight and comfortable and takes up next to no room in my pack. Batteries and bulbs last for a long time!

I've used this light on three separate occasions so far and I love it. It's bright, the beam is very wide, and it's really comfortable to wear. What I loved most about this light was the price. Very good, very affordable.

This is a pretty good headlamp for a lightweight inexpensive light. comfortable, easy to use but not the brightest LED lamp I have ever used. But gets you a decent amount of light where you look to get around. You def. get what you pay for with this headlamp.

This light works like a champ! I used it to complete 2.5 miles along the Ouachita Trail after dark fell. It worked well. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. No complaints!

Took this caving a few weeks back and it was not bad at all. I would recommend getting one with more LED lighting but for the price this was satisfactory.

Bright, good wide beam, fits well, easy to use and adjust. Good price. 1st one I bought and it met all expectations. I hike, camp backcountry, snowboard, and windsurf - great for 1st three.

I will never leave home without it! It is a great hands-free lighting device that fits my needs.

The light beam is wide and bright enough for walking over uneven terrain. It fit well and lasted all night on our overnight hike.

This will do the job. I got sick of dropping my headlamps in the river, so I bought a couple of these. They work great and do the job wonderfully.

Bought this for rock climbing but love it on my camping trips! Never had a headlamp till now and I don't know how I lived without one in the dark, wilderness. One of the best buys ever!
