What's with the Black/Dacari color? Is it just colored stitching? If so, what color is Dacari, anyway?

It is just the contrast colored stiching. The Dacari is just a red stich on the black short. Guess it adds a little flare.

I have worn them once, rode 28 miles. Comfortable padding, no soreness the next day. Good length, didn't ride up. I would recommend them.

The 3D Elite Chamois provides very good padding. BC has it a bit wrong listing it at 100mm thick padding, in 2008 and 2009 the padding was updated to 13mm. The padding is triple layered with soft, medium, and high-density foams. No gel is used; gels tend not to disperse heat and sweet as well. The 3D Elite padding is one of the best in the industry. I simply love my Pearl Izumi Ultrasensor, I have about 5 pairs of these shorts and IMHO they are just perfect. I use them for my everyday commuting to and back from work. The material isn't as sleek as the one from the most famous (and expensive) brands around, but oh boy! It is durable!
