Pearl Izumi Syncro Seek 2 Trail Running Shoes - Women's

If you're a fan of both trail and road running, you'll be a fan of the Pearl Izumi Women's Syncro Seek 2 Trail Running Shoes. The Syncro Seek 2 Shoes have a seamless race slipper, which feels soft against your foot and won't chafe. The high-abrasion, seamless mesh construction can handle a few tumbles on the trail. Pearl Izumi outfitted these running shoes with a midfoot microfiber suede support so your arch doesn't get sore on mile 10. A carbon rubber outsole grabs onto slippery surfaces, whether it's mud on the trail or snow on the road. The Syncro Seek 2 Shoe has 360-degree reflectivity to keep you visible on those early-morning runs.

Bottom Line: Doesn't matter if you love the concrete or the trail, the Syncro Seek 2 Trail Running Shoes can handle both.

Great walking, hiking shoe

By:

Lightweight, strong for pavement, enough gripe on the trail, these are my everyday hiking shoes. Footbed is wide but lacing allows lots of flexibility to localize fit up and down the foot. This is great when you go from activity to activity. Look good and built well.

Great off Road Shoe

By:
June 30, 2008

In Australia I run in all weather found these shoes to be extremely slippery on wet pavement (concrete). Otherwise this shoe is great for off road comfortable and light. I have a high instep and this shoes supports that adequately and is fairly wide fit. Great looking shoe and I am enjoying wearing them is dry weather.

Great shoes, no pronation

By:
May 22, 2009

Love these shoes. This is my second pair and because they didn't stock my size in Australia where I live, (no half sizes here) I ordered them from the Backcountry US. Well worth it. I have a chronic back condition and do lots of walking. These shoes offer great support and stop my rear foot roll in so that I can walk tall with no pressure on the low back. Recommend the shoes, recommend Backcountry!

Confrotable, but falls apart quickly

By:
May 8, 2009

I bought the first pair last year, and the inside ball of foot blew out withing 45 days. I sent them back and was sent a new pair, exactly the same. This pair I have worn for approximately another 30-40 days, and they are also beginning to blow out in the same exact spot. Nice looking shoe, but not worth the money.

Great shoe -- trail or road

By: Backcountry.com Employee

I bought these shoes because of the description that they were good for trails and road running-- I've tried them out on both and been quite pleased with the results. I'm not an avid runner... however, I am trying to train for a relay race.. and the shoes have performed well on all training runs.. these shoes give me the support (w/o being heavy) that I need.
