Pearl Izumi Slice Ultrasensor Thermafleece Tight - Women' - 2008

Getting off even a short bike ride with frozen, red legs is not rad. The Pearl Izumi Women’s Slice Ultrasensor Thermafleece Tights are here to help. The Ultrasensor fabric adds durability and moisture management, while a Thermafleece lining retains leg warmth without making your toned long-and-leans overheat. An eight-panel design provides a streamlined, flexible fit that won’t bunch, and offset eight-inch ankle zippers with locking tabs keep the hatches buttoned down.

Bottom Line: No more cold legs.

Keeps me warm even if it's cold enough to freeze my eyeballs

I'm amazed at how warm these tights keep my legs. I'm sensitive to cold and was concerned about running outdoors in the colder temps, but these tights are it! Very comfortable and although not low-rise, they don't ride up all the way to my neck. ;) I like the wicking properties too — sweat all you want. These things can handle it.

back again!!

I bought two pairs of these tights 5yrs ago, and I finally wore them out!! So I am buying them again because they are so great!! I like that there is no chamois because you can wear them over shorts a couple of times without having to wash each time they are worn. I even wore to the gym a couple of times. They are very comfortable, and I am also tall and have had trouble sometimes finding tights that are long enough. They are great, and when I bought my first pairs at a bike shop, they were alotmore expensive. The price is very good, and I cant wait to get them since my others are almost wore through!!

Worth every freakin' penny.

I am amazed at how incredible these tights are. Their first test was in blustery 50 degree NH fall weather. They rock! I was not cold at ALL! Couldn't feel the wind. They are comfy yet versatile. I'm 5'9" and the legs are long enough (I wear a medium); my bum is well covered above the waist when cycIing. I wore them out the other day on a 3 hr. ride that ended up being warmer than expected (70 degrees!) so I unzipped the ankles and pulled them up capri-style. They performed amazingly well. I came home and declared "These are worth every freakin' penny".

great for cold weather layering!

By:

I wore these tights on a several-hour ride a few days ago in windy 40F weather. Since they're not padded, I wore a regular pair of bike shorts underneath, and they still fit just fine. I had merino knee socks pulled up over my calves, and I was toasty warm the whole ride - I think I could've worn them without the wool socks in warmer weather, and could've also ridden colder than 40 in the layers I had on.
