The 08 3D Pro Chamois in the Pearl Izumi Women's P.R.O. Microsensor Bike Shorts doesn't kid around when it comes to crotch comfort. While you rest in 13 millimeters of contoured padding, the carbon yarn helps disperse heat. And dispersed heat means a lower body temp, heart rate, and less lactic acid buildup. A Direct-Vent panel adds breathability to the Microsensor Bike Shorts, while wicking fabric prevents those after-the-sweat chills. Pearl Izumi's spandex leg grippers keep the eight-inch inseam in place without cutting off blood flow.

no chaffin' chamois

wore these shorts for a 6 hour ride, no issues what so ever. Chamois is worth the extra money to protect the privates. I am usually a size 6 in pants, and the small was perfect.

My Favorite Shorts

I wore these all summer and loved them. The stitching is flattering and the leg is a little shorter than some others (nice for longer rides and raising the tan-line). Great chamois - never experienced discomfort. I am a size 4 and wear a small comfortably. Comfortable leg 'grips' - no pinching.

This pair of shorts delivers the best material and padding for your money. I wear size 4-6 and the size small fits well. Order up if you have bigger thigh muscles. Pearl Izumi does not ride up or pinch. Wore them in 80 degree temp with 85% humidity for 5 hours without any chafing. They also make the thighs appear more fit and smaller with the style and stitching.
