Pearl Izumi Attack Short - Men's

With 11 millimeters of thick, dense padding in key areas, the Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Bike Shorts won't wage war on your package. A 9¼-inch inseam covers your thighs without bothering your knees, while the Attack Shorts' eight-panel, ergonomic design allows for smooth pedaling without fabric-bunching. Pearl Izumi included silver antimicrobial ions in these shorts' chamois lining to cut down on odor, while fusion technology bonds the padding in these shorts so there's less chafing while you're on the road.

Bottom Line: Inner-thigh rubbing is the enemy. Block chafe attacks with these Pearl Izumi Bike Shorts.

Perfect Short

By:
May 4, 2009

These shorts are perfect. They are right down the middle price wise and at the top of the game in comfort, functionality and they last forever. Do not buy cheap shorts you'll regret and don't buy anything more expensive because you can get two pairs of these for the price of some of the more ridiculous upper level stuff. I've put several thousand miles in each pair and they are still looking good.

First pair of bike shorts

By:
May 11, 2009

This is my first pair of bike shorts and I would have to agree with the reviews above. The shorts are comfy and seem to be of good value.

I'm new to cycling and definitely not used to time spent on the saddle, but I've been riding 20-35mi rides and the shorts definitely help.

I'm 6'2" 215lbs and the XL fits nicely. Even better after a first wash.

If you're new to the sport, don't expect shorts to make the ride comfortable... just a bit easier to cope with. Ha.

sweet ass

Great shorts I have been riding in them for a few weeks now 200 miles or so. This weekend I did a century in them. My butt was one of the things that did not hurt after. The pad is were it needs to be and there is no extra material or waste. The cut and panels are very comfortable. I do recommend these and might buy another one so that I don't have to use the old back up pair.

Get What U Pay 4

By:

You definitely get what you pay for and these shorts are worth the entry price. The padding is great but the overall support and chafe free stitching give me one less thing to worry about during my rides.
I had a pair of entry-level Tr*k brand shorts that literally rubbed me the wrong way and made longer rides terrible. I bought these PI shorts and couldn't be happier. Your arse and your thighs will be happy, too!

Great Shorts

The best you can get for the price. I wouldn't recommend anything less than these if you ride 50 or more miles a week.
