Patagonia Vitaliti Skirt - Women's - 2008

Patagonia used sustainable materials to create the Women's Vitaliti Skirt. This faux-wrap skirt features organic cotton and recycled polyester for comfort, breathability, and durability. A touch of spandex gives this skirt some stretch and helps make it wrinkle-resistant—a definite plus if you're traveling or have iron-o-phobia. The Vitaliti Skirt's asymmetrical waist and flared silhouette look classy for art gallery openings or film festivals but isn't so dressy that you can't wear it to a backyard barbeque.

Bottom Line: Dress up or dress down.

Best travel skirt!

I wore this skirt almost exclusively on a recent trip to Thailand. It wears well, the fabric breaths, absorbing moisture and passing it through. Washes up in a sink and dries fast. I wore it climbing ruins, riding in tuk tuks and rarely had a problem showing off things best kept hidden. Since there is no adjustable waistband, order a size smaller than you normally would so it doesn't fall off your hips.

Vitaliti Skirt

This is a good skirt for casual or dressy. The fabric is light and airy, and it washes well. I ordered a small and am 5'6", 115 lbs. It falls just below the knee on me. My only complaint is that it does fall open when you sit down or when the wind blows. I have to hold it closed sometimes to avoid showing all the girly bits! My advice is to wear a cute pair of the Patagonia active briefs and not worry about it. :)

Breezy, simple & classic

I love this skirt & get a lot of compliments on it. It falls below the knee- which is my favorite length for practical reasons. However, I do agree the previous reviewer that the "wrap" factor can be a little revealing with wind gusts or sitting sometimes- I hid a little pin partway down the slit to solve the problem. The fabric is light & airy without being see-through or "showy." It runs a touch big- I'm usually a med/large bottom, but in this skirt I was a definite medium- runs big. Overall the skirt wears well & washes well.

Patagonia Vitaliti Skirt

This skirt is quite cute and really comfortable. I've had a few different Patagonia Vitaliti skirts over the years, and the asymmetrical styling on this one is really fun.Occasionally the flap is an issue in breezes, but other than that I'm a big fan. I'm generally a size 6 or 8 and the medium fits me really well. The Cranberry color is a bit darker with a hint of maroon in the flesh. This skirt is a summer staple of my wardrobe.
