The burly Patagonia Tech Web Belt won't break down in the backcountry, leaving you looking for a new way to hold your pants up. Patagonia made the one-size-fits-all Tech Web Belt from 1.5-inch webbing and a lightweight, strong aluminum buckle. The notch in the buckle is great for opening beers—just be careful not to spill all over your crotch.
Bottom Line: Open beer and keep your pants up with the Tech Web Belt.
This is the only belt of it's kind that I have used that actually STAYS PUT. The buckle is super light and looks great. The 1.5 inch width is also good for a big guy like me (6'2" / 250 lb). Others look too skinny & girly by comparison. Simple, stylish, works as advertised. My other web belts are going to the thrift store.
NOTE ON LENGTH: I have a 38" waist and the length is just about right (enough to tuck the loose end thru a belt loop). If you are 40" or more, this belt may be a bit too short for you.
NOTE ON COLOR: I ordered the Blue-Black and the Bitter Chocolate. The BB is as expected, a very dark navy. The BC color is kind of an odd color, and actually could be called "Purple Rain" in some light.
Never before have I gotten a compliment on my belt until I got this belt. I got the khaki one and it goes with just about everything. I also can't stress enough about how strong and durable the buckle is but can anyone tell me how to open a beer without undoing the belt? an absolutely perfect belt!
i love the look of these belts and much prefer web belts to leather as I live in FL and wear thin shorts all the time. The issue I have is that I am allergic to nickel. How do I find out if the patagonia belts have nickel in them? thanks
I purchased this belt for Northface ski pants. It is a heavy duty belt designed just for this job. The quality is extremely good the width and thickness is perfect and it fits nicely through the belt keepers. The buckle is solid and easy to adjust. It does not slip at all and it has stayed tight throughout the entire day of skiing. I recommend this belt.
I've always looked for a belt I can wear with pants and shorts. This belt is it. For the money, it fits every need I have. I wear with shorts or with my cargo pants. I even wear it with my jeans. It's superduty strong and will probably last a lifetime. I totally recommend getting this belt!
Patagonia has 6 colors: Blueblack, Black, Velvet Brown, Grey Green, Seagrass, and Dried Vanilla. They're the same price right now, but you don't get the same service and return policy.
I got the black belt. I wear it with my mountain Khakis and my wool suits. This is my all time favorite belt, equally good looking and functional outside and in my office. I liked it so much, I bought a second.
Easy to do too. Cut my with scissors and sealed it with the kitchen stove. Probably should do this in a well ventilated area, the fiance wasn't too happy with the smell!
Hi All - I'm the accessories product manager at Patagonia. The belt measures 47" from buckle to the end. One size fits most, and you can cut and sear the end if you are on the smaller end of the spectrum. Cheers!
i bought this belt just because i thought it looked awesome. but it doesn't slip a bit like the thinner patagonia belt much like this one. i bought the heritage blue at first, and returned it because it is actually a much darker blue than it appears online. got a brighter color, love it and wear it all the time.
Keeps your pants up and opens a beer in a pinch (already had to use). What more do you want? Perfect width, infinite sizing (handy after too much pizza and sierra nevada), cut to length.
Update: I was actually at a wedding in Vail and forgot a more formal, leather-type belt and had to wear this one. I have brown, so it didn't stand out, looked fine and I actually got some complements. Could have been some sarcasm, but I was in Vail, so at least I got points for being different. I definitely wear this thing to work.
This is by far one of my favorite accessories... I have it in two different colors. It is a fantastic addition to any wardrobe. I especially find it most useful as a travel accessory. It is versatile and can be used in casual or maybe even a little bit dressed up!
This is my new go to belt. It was easy to cut and size. Fits great and doesn't point out when you've had a bit too much holiday food by making you move to the next hole.
Best all around outdoor activity belt ever. Got one on a lark after reading reviews; functional, stylish without the frills, easy to adjust, stays put when cinched up, and great quality for the money. I also get asked about it all the time. You can't go wrong here! Cut it to fit (leave room for shirt tucks and future growth...better to cut it too long than too short!), melt the end with a macth or lighter, and strap it on. No regrets here!
Lets face it a belts a belt its gotta hold up your pants and its gotta take some abuse i wear this belt everyday its comfortable you can take it on and off with one hand it stay tight when you crank it down and it has a nice lil bottle opener on the backside all in all i give her a 5, good price
Nice belt. Doesn't slip, easy to trim length and holds up your pants. Bottle cap opener is always nice to have. Only issue is that the buckle sticks out a bit too far.
Great belt, as everyone else has said. It is somewhat difficult to open a beer bottle with the buckle whilst wearing the belt, without spilling some beer on your crotch, but it is definitely possible.
Perfect belt. Looks great, is simple and handles just about any situation. Wore it during a bouldering session on friday, followed by a wedding friday evening and a desert tower on saturday.
The Patagonia Tech Web Belt is awesome - it works great with any kind of pants or shorts, including my ski pants. I am about a 33-34" waist and this belt is definitely long enough. A great buy in my opinion.
I bought this belt because I forgot mine and my pants were falling down. I kept it because it is made of bomber nylon webbing, and it has a lower profile, so it's a lot more practical and comfortable for wearing under a harness or a hipbelt. On the whole a great product, bound to outlive me.
