Patagonia Stretch Jackalope Pant - Men's - 2007

Patagonia constructed the Men's Stretch Jackalope Pants with burly nylon to give them the durability to take on long hikes and never-ending offwidth rock pitches. A touch of spandex, a gusseted crotch, and articulated knees ensure plenty of mobility when you break out onto technical face climbing. Patagonia offset the Stretch Jackalope Pants' belt loops and waist seams to make them more comfortable with a climbing harness.

Bottom Line: The Patagonia Stretch Jackalope Pants hold their own on brutal hikes and climbs.

Great Pants

By:

Have owned a pair of these for over a year and they are great. Comfortable fit, just the right amount of stretch and excellent quality. Use them to hike in year round - even in winter with a base layer. Water repellent, wind resistant, plenty of pockets.

Good and stretchy, watch the fit

I bought a 38 though I typically wear a 36, and the fit is just right through the legs (tiny bit loose--need a belt--in the waist). If you like your pants to fit slightly loosely in the legs, go a size up.
Good stretchiness...good water-shedding.

Jackalope Rock

By:
September 23, 2009

I was having a mild panic attack just now, looking to see where I could purchase more Jackalopes. Now I don't usually gush over clothing -- not at all. But the Jacks fit and last, they even endured attempted rips by gym equipment; they fail to abrade when sliding on rocks. And I even tipped over on a motorcycle once -- same thing happened with jeans; jeans wore through, Jacks are good as new.

Now if you're touchy about spandex, these might not be for you. But if you like a well-fittig, comfy, DURABLE pant that can work anywhere -- I wear armor under them and ride a motorcycle!! These are the bombster.

And I'm so happy to learn they're still in production.

terrific pants

By:

Patagonia gear is almost indestructible, made with as little impact to the environment as possible, and really beautiful if not also stylish. these pants are light and move with you. they also fit well and are very comfortable. i am one that was hoping to wear them for many uses: one being as daily wear. however, though really nice, the latte is just a bit too bright for me. (always unhappy when returning Patagonia gear.) i do very much recommend these if you are less silly than me about certain colors.

Superb despite one drawback

By:
May 8, 2008

Bought these Patagonoa Jackalope Pants with hesitation as I normally prefer the (unmodified)cargo style pants. These pants did not disappoint me. The quality is superb as well as the fit (I am usually in between sizes 31 and 32 and the 32 fits just right) They are stylish and look very nice for everyday casual wear. The slightly stretchy material is nice and comfortable. The only thing these pants are short on is the pockets - they are on the shallow side.
