Patagonia Rock Guide Pant - Women's

Not only does the Patagonia Women’s Rock Guide Pant stretch with you as you stem, jam, highstep, crimp, and thrutch, but it also gives you some athletic style when you head out for victory beers after you send. This lightweight, stretch-woven nylon pant is built tough for climbing, and Patagonia added straight lower legs for easy roll-ups.

Bottom Line: Designed for rock divas of any discipline.

I'm looking for a good pant for xc skiing. Would these fit the bill or does Patagonia make a pant that would work better? I like the Patagonia Integral pants, but am unable to find them available anywhere.

I'm not sure something that is so great for summer rock climbing would work for XC skiing. But then again, these run pretty large so long underwear would fit well underneath. The cuffs are def great for rolling up, a feature that's great for rock, not so great for XC Skiing. Ifusing these for XC skiing, you might want to use gaiters.

Meg, the Patagonia Rock Guide pant would work well for xc skiing, also see the Alpine Guide Softshell Pant or the Patagonia Backcountry guide pant. Those last two options have more of an elastic cuff to keep snow out, and are still a breathable and water resistant soft shell pant.

these pants would work great for cool/cold weather. They are basically a lightweight soft shell pant, and they have a DWR coating on them which helps protect from wind and water.
