Patagonia Rain Shadow Pant - Women's - 2007

Keep your legs dry when the rain dumps in buckets with the Patagonia Women's Rain Shadow Pants. These waterproof breathable pants weigh 7.5 ounces and compress easily to take up very little room in your pack. With a relaxed cut and zippered cuffs, you can get them on easily whenever nasty weather hits. Patagonia made the Rain Shadow Pants with tough ripstop fabric, so they stand up to rock and ice. It's easy to keep moving in the storm because these pants have articulated knees as well as a drawcord waist that allows them to be worn over layers.

awesome rain pants!

I have owned these rain pants for nearly 2 years. They have been fantastic. The fabric is quite durable, and does a great job at keeping the rain out. They are nice and compact when storing them in a backpack too! My only complaint is that if you are tall, you will find them short, and with the elastic at the bottom of the legs - the rain runs off my pants and down into my shoes! I am 5'7 and have a size medium, I wouldn't want to be any taller.

I am 5'5" and 133lbs and I got the small size but they are too short. They fit OK around the legs and behind, but I am returning for a medium for more length and a bit more room.

Most rain pants I've tried on are larger then expected. How do these fit? I'd like to be able to slip them on over jeans for the bike ride home.

these have a little room, but they're not your typical oversized rain pant. You should be fine with them over jeans

These rain pants do their job: they keep you snug and dry. If they won't win any awards for style, but that’s OK—they do the job they were made to do (which is more than I can say for the OR pants they replaced).

I used the Patagonia rain pants (along with the jacket I purchased 2 years ago) on a recent 8-day trip traveling over 250 miles on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Little did I realize we were rafting during monsoon season! The suit was great, warm/cool as I needed—I even slept it in one night. Great service, quick delivery and excellent performance of this product. Thanks.
