Patagonia R1 Granular Jacket - Men's - 2006

The Patagonia R1 Granular Jacket can be worn for any cold weather activity. The versatility of this technical insulator can not be denied. Bearing Patagonia's Regulator designation for its insulating properties and layerabilty, the Granular can be used for numerous pursuits. The use of negative space, in its interior grid pattern, to store body heat and encourage airflow allows this all-purpose jacket to regulate temperature and move moisture. Smooth on the outside, this jacket can easily be layered under your favorite shell to keep you outside. A contoured cut accommodates base-layers and lets you wear this functional jacket every time you head outdoors.

Hey folks, this is a great jacket! With that fit there will be no bulk in your way! A high quality, very well made and warm jacket. It's perfect as layer under a shell as insulation, but in addition wearable just by itself, because it's almost completely windproof. An all-round jacket for everyday use on the cold days. It's very nice that the jacket is made in USA and not somewhere in the Far East which underlines the very good quality!

This is the first patagonia item to fit me really well. I am tall and thin and their stuff is either too short on the sleeves and torso or too wide for me. This is actually fairly form fitting and still long enough on the sleeves and torso to keep me happy. I got this primarily for a good top layer in cool conditions, but it actually works really well as a mid layer too. Pretty thin insulation, but still warm enough for mild weather.
