Patagonia Paddling Pants - 2008

When you paddle the Long Island Sound in November, wear a pair of pants that will keep that frigid water away from you and your drawers: the waterproof breathable Patagonia Paddling Pants. These shells have a loose fit for comfortable layering, and their ergo seat and knees and gusseted crotch keep you moving freely. Patagonia used 3-layer fabric construction, fully taped seams, and 2mm neoprene at the waist and ankles to prevent water from entering these paddling pantaloons.

Bottom Line: From glacier-water explorations to January paddle outings, Patagonia keeps you warm and dry.

Strange Fabric; No Pockets

The fabric is very noisy when walking and feels like being in a plastic bag. Lack of pockets reduces utility.
