Durable leather uppers and soft pigskin leather linings aren't the only story with the Patagonia Women's Sugar and Spice Shoes; removable soles make them ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Just peel off the Skywalk outsoles to keep from tracking dirt and mud into the house after a morning hiking or an afternoon of gardening. Wear the Sugar and Spice Shoes without their soles to barbecue on the porch, and put the soles back on to head into the woods surrounding the cabin. Patagonia made these versatile shoes easily collapsible, so they take up very little space in your luggage when you bring them on vacation. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: Whether you want to keep your floors clean or just want something soft and comfortable to wear around the house, the Patagonia Sugar and Shoes help you along your way.
I became interested in Patagonia shoes only after seeing this one; it really stood out for its design and ingenious ability to be two different shoes (the rubber sole slips off with the mary jane strap, so you also have a ballet-type flat). The flat is wearable outside. However, for me-the strap put too much pressure on the joint of my first metatarsal, which is already a bit tender, so I had to return them. NOTE: they run at smaller than most shoes, so order up @ least a 1/2 size.
These shoes are very comfortable and look great. They are tough and I have worn them in all sorts of mud and rocks. The sole washes off soooo easily. I agree with others to order probably a full size up. Mine fit perfectly at size 10.5 and I usually wear a 9.5. I would highly recommend these shoes overall if you keep that in mind.
This shoe is super cute and comfortable and comes in a great variety of colors. Plus it's fantastic that you essentially get two shoes in one. However, in saying that, don't wear the ballet inside shoe outside at all. After only a couple journeys to and from the mailbox or corner store, the soles have worn through. I think Patagonia just thought people would wear the insides as slippers, however even after repeated use around the house I think you'd find it would still wear through. The removable soles are incredibly durable though, and could withstand any sort of outdoorsy activity! Oh and the inside shoe is a nice suede-like soft, which is very comfortable!
I wear these shoes every day and they are very comfortable and they look nice. They have great foot and arch support for a slip on shoe. I have the poppy fields and the color is great. They hold up to the elements well. I am hooked on Patagonia shoes. With these I did have to go 1/2 a size up.
These shoes are fantastic in every way, and very very cute. I too became hooked on Patagonia shoes after seeing these. The design and colors are smart and aesthetically pleasing, and the fit is very comfortable, at first. After wearing the shoes around for about a week or two, they started to create an uncomfortable place on my right foot. The do run small and it becomes unbearable. I wish I had purchased a larger size, hopefully they can exchange the shoes. As long as you remember to order a size up, the shoes should please you in every way!!!
