Patagonia Footwear Larry Shoe - Men's

After a long day of skiing or ice climbing, slip into the Patagonia Men's Larry Shoe and head for the nearest, warmest house of ale you can find. The all-wool uppers keep your feet toasty and move moisture, while leather mudguards ward of the slushy muck outside the bar. Patagonia added a 20% recycled EVA midsole for cushion, and stitched the fabric to reduce the use of solvents and adhesives. The recycled rubber sole provides traction on the slippery walk home.

Bottom Line: Wooly comfort for all your après activities.

I love these shoes

By:

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I love how they are designed and how they feel. They are very light weight and flexible right away when you open the box. I highly recommend these shoes. The could use some arch support but that is easily fixable.

I have never found that they have been. Buy a 1/2 size lower.

Patagonia is pretty good for sizing, so go for it. If it doesn't work though, backcountry.com has an excellent return policy, so you can change sizes.

My favorite shoe

By:
October 13, 2009

These are the warmest, most comfortable shoe I've come across. They slip right on and have a nice roomy fit, perfect for an around the house slipper. I've also walked miles in them and the outer sole has held up well and has plenty of grip. This shoe has received the most compliments of any shoe I've owned, and I can't tell you how toasty they get! Not much support and not rigid, but these boot-slippers have proved themselves around town and I am getting a second pair.

How is their traction? Are they okay in slick/icy condition

Not that great. Obviously no shoe is foolproof so these don't slip any more than normal, but they also don't have better traction than normal.

great shoe

Great shoe! Very comfortable. Great for everyday wear and great for travel. The only problem I have is that Patagonia's sizes do not correlate with most other brands. I had to scale down about 1/2 size with this shoe.

I normally wear an 11, went down to a 10 1/2 and had to send them back. Got the 11 and probably should have gone up to a 11 1/2, may end up sending the 11's back too.

They're supposed to be casual shoes, but I don't think durability is the issue. The wool uppers aren't waterproof at all, so in snow you'd just be soaked.- I've got a pair that I have worn in Colorado; My feet stayed dry though I was not snowshoing; you can spray them with a waterproofing and that helps a lot!

my favorite shoe in the closet.

By:

This shoe is pretty awesome. I am a big fan of wearing slippers around campus and this is the perfect solution. The bottoms of these are made to last and I have gotten plenty of comments on them already. While others have said these dont hold up well in the rain, I have to disagree, I wore them around all campus in the pouring rain, not only did my feet stay dry, they still look like brand new! If you want comfort and style grab a pair of these.

Amazing

I personally use these as my "after ski" shoe. Easy to slip right on and off and super comfortable after a day of being in ski boots. Really light as previously said and I absolutely love them. Do your feet a favor and get yourself a pair.
