Patagonia Capilene Silkweight T-Shirt - Mens - 2006
Owning one or more Patagonia Capilene Silkweight T-Shirt is mandatory for any outdoor enthusiast. These smooth and soft short-sleeved shirts instantly move moisture away from your body and are easy to layer under any type of gear. With a silky hand and handsome colors you can put one on for a jog around the block or wear one under your button-down for cold morning treks to the office.
You really can hike, bike, run, work, and camp, all in one shirt.
Bottom Line: You really can hike, bike, run, work, and camp, all in one shirt.
Really like wearing this tee, especially for exercising, because it keeps me comfortable and less damp feeling. At 230+ the size XL fitted just right without being too snug.
These are up there with best quality performance tees I tried, fits great, no complaints. It survived washing machine and low temp drying. Oh, and I feel great during body weight workouts.
This is a soft, comfy, cozy, versatile Tech-T. I tend to think Pata-Guichi is a little expensive, but between the company's commitment to the environment and the quality of the product, it's worth the extra dollars. This is no different. Can be worn as an undershirt or solo without being made fun of by your friends.
After getting over the static feel, this shirt left me dry, cool and happy. Used for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and everyday use I have enjoyed the wicking and cooling of this shirt. Seems to be holding up well to the abuse it takes.
This shirt is utterly amazing. I know its not marketed as such, but size down for a tighter fit and this makes an amazing riding jersey! Sized normally there arent too many better base layers out there. Go with the long sleeve if you want to stay a little more protected from the wind while riding, and to stay a little warmer when layering.
Very smooth and very cool for activity... great for the sweaty stuff since it wicks then cools and dries fast. I like it best as a layer under my uniform stuff at work but also to wear around the house as a casual tee and when I work out. Very versatile and comfortable.
Just wore this shirt today in Minnesota on a 57F day while training for my half marathon. I ran 10 miles in this shirt and it stayed dry and didn't smell at all. It also is the most comfortable of all of these types of polyester "workout" shirts as I call them. I definitely will get another one or two and would highly recommend them.
These shirts are awesome. I use the long sleeve version for base layers when snowboarding. They insulate well and wick extremely well. The short sleeve versions are great for extremely hot summers. Wearing them in Guam was awesome...no sweat while everyone was dying.
