Patagonia Capilene Midweight Hiking Crew Socks - 2006

Patagonia's Capilene Midweight Hiking Crew Socks are made for trekking or alpine climbing in cool to cold conditions. The midweight socks also work wonderfully around town on cold days. They provide warmth without ridiculous bulk, and they're breathable so your feet don't overheat. A Capilene felted footbed that adds cushion and insulation and won't wear out. Patagonia's innovative rib-cuff design is non-restrictive and prevents the Capilene Hiking Crew socks from sloughing into boots. Flex zones in the toe box and ankle allow for a natural, non-bunching flex.

I had just received these socks before we went backpacking in the Glacier Peak wilderness and found them to be warm, comfortable and, best of all, a non-event item. Highly recommended.
